Meet Razz & the Berries: a bluegrass-ish band of bears performing at the annual Jam Sesh.

Created for the July 2026 Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators monthly prompt: JAM. Initially I had the idea for a bear at a farmers market with a stand full of jam, however I could not resist a bluegrass band of bears. Yes, trumpet is not a traditional bluegrass instrument, but I’d like to think he insisted he was born to play brass.
